QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q. - Are you a part of a local church?
A. Yes. We are a part of a local church in Guadalajara, Mexico that has been established for over 20 years. It is a large house church fellowship with a traditional-style manner of meeting (including expository preaching). The church is lead by a group of elders and overseen by the main preaching pastor. We fellowship there regularly, have a close relationship with many of the brethren and with the pastor, and minister there on a regular basis (leading an evangelism team, prayer meetings, and the youth fellowship).
Q. – What is your denominational affiliation?
A. – Our affiliation is with Jesus Christ, the only begotten of the Father, and with the Church universal, the pillar and ground of the truth, made not of brick, mortar, wood and nails, but made up of living stones, built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit. We are a part of no denominational sect, though there are true believers indeed in each major denomination that holds to fundamental Christian truth and we fellowship with any of our true brethren in Christ no matter their background and affiliation so long as the essential doctrines of the Gospel aren’t compromised, but we are a part of the one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one Gospel, one Spirit, and one God and Father of all the saints who is in them all and through them all, manifesting the love of Christ amongst His brethren on earth and keeping them in unity of the faith, holding fast to Christ alone as the Head of the Church.
Q. – Are you a part of a mission organization?
A. – Yes, we are a part of that great mission organization initially started by the Lord Jesus Himself in Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-20 which continues on to this day. We are happy to boast in this mission of the Lord Himself, which happens to be the longest standing and most successful mission organization in the world, to the glory and honor of the King. Its success and growth was utterly booming from its inception. It is built on the Rock of Ages and the gates of Hell have never, and never shall, prevail against it. It has trampled snakes and scorpions and demolished Satanic strongholds all over the world for centuries, and is still in direct communication with the General and Commander as its great, triumphant Leader through the voice of the Spirit. We are therefore held in strict accountability on all levels to the Judgment Seat of Christ and labor both in the fear of offending our Leadership, and in great love and motivation to please and honor Him.
Q. – What type of ministries are you involved in?
A. – The primary task of missions is the proclamation of the testimony and Word of God to those who are ignorant of it, to preach Christ, to persuade men to flee the wrath to come and to come to Christ for pardon from sin, to testify of the grace of God, to win souls, and to make disciples. This is what our activities are aimed at doing. We don’t boast of any great success, and many times meet with great discouragements and obstacles to this great task, yet this ever remains the focus and goal of all our ministerial endeavors.
We are involved in evangelizing the lost through relational evangelism, through house-to-house proclamation of the Word of God, through open air preaching in the streets of the cities and in towns and villages, through preaching to the lost wherever they’re at as the opportunity is wise. This also includes not only preaching, but also loving them, helping them bear their burdens, demonstrating the love of Christ, praying for the sick and casting out demons. And we are involved with teaching the Body of Christ in the midst of the Church to obey everything Jesus commanded, to imparting to them some spiritual gift when the Lord wills, to building them up in the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. Our specific activities in Mexico have involved street preaching, preaching in a drug rehabilitation center and counseling severe drug addicts, preaching to and discipling men in prison, leading group Bible studies for seekers, evangelizing from house to house in various villages, feeding and conducting Gospel meetings for children, preaching in local churches and home groups, and distributing books and tracts.
Q. – Can you receive church groups from the US and Canada to give them a “hands-on” missions experience?
A. – We do not currently have an open invitation to everybody to join us. But if you would like to visit for a short-term mission trip, contact us and let us know, and we will consider whether or not we can help you get plugged in somewhere. We are open to having long-term laborers come and work with us. They must know Spanish (or be willing to attend an intensive learning school 5 days per week at their own cost until they do), they must have a solid Gospel understanding, demonstrate Christ-like character and fruit, and be anointed for the work of the ministry. Our selection for this will be very limited. If you are considering coming to Mexico as a long-term missionary, contact us and let us know.
Q. – Are you open to receiving invitations for speaking engagements?
A. – Yes, I am open to receiving speaking engagements in local churches or Gospel events in and outside of Mexico. However, I do not promise to accept the invitation. It will be considered and prayed over before the decision is made whether to accept it or decline it. If accepted, please be informed that I do NOT require an offering or “honorarium” to be taken up for me, as I minister the Word without cost. If you would be so kind as to cover travel expenses, and provide a home of a believer or room to stay in, that would be welcomed, but the invitation will be considered even if you are unable to pay travel costs.
Also, be aware that I will not accept any invitation to minister or preach in a meeting of any false sect or cult, such as Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah-Witnesses, Catholics, Mormons, Oneness Pentecostals, etc. unless, of course, you are inviting me to explain to you by the Word of God why such religions are false. And I will not preach in hyper-charismatic churches that endorse animal-like manifestations as being from God or any church that teaches that godliness means financial gain, or any church that holds to doctrines of sinless perfection, unless of course the invitation is for me to expose such error by the Word of God, then and only then will it be considered.
Q. – How are you financially supported?
A. – We are supported financially by our brothers and sisters in Christ, mainly from the US; from various individuals from various churches who of their own kind heart help support us and fund the ministry. From time to time, we have also worked with our own hands to make up for deficiency in funds. But ultimately, we are supported by the sovereign hand of God and He has constantly supplied all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Though we live by faith, and have taken great risks in stepping out in faith, I can honestly testify that we never been lacking in any thing –glory be to God.
Q. – How do you manage your finances?
A. – By Scriptural principles of stewardship, with great thankfulness to God for providing, and with prudence in spending on necessities and not on extravagances, and with prayer for seeking the direction of the Lord in serious decisions that require large amounts of spending.
Q. – What are your material ministerial needs?
A. – Our ministerial needs frequently change from time to time depending on the activities we’re engaged in. Obviously, our most basic needs are food and shelter for my wife and I as we labor in the Gospel, and on top of this, we frequently use gas for traveling. On top of this, ministerial supplies and literature for distribution are always needed, as well as funds for current projects. You can contact us and ask if you have any specific questions.
