Ministry Activities

Here you will find a very brief and basic overview of some of our ministry activities and methods for reaching out with the Gospel. These are not all our activities, but just a basic overview of a few of our methods. Underlying everything we do, our essential conviction is to first of all, glorify God through the preaching and teaching of His Word abroad, and secondarily, to see men come to saving faith in Christ and to be strengthened in the faith.

Open Air Preaching

Since God has chosen the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe, we regularly preach in the open air wherever people gather. This may seem extreme to some, but it is nothing short of the Biblical model. Jesus preached in the open air almost everywhere He went. The Apostle Peter saw a multitude of 3,000 men swept into the Kingdom in a single open air sermon in the book of Acts. The Apostle Paul preached in the open air many times on his missionary journeys. How can we obey Jesus and preach the Gospel to every creature if we don't literally GO OUT to the streets and preach it to every creature?!

Personal Evangelism

Without personal work in dealing with souls one-on-one in evangelism, there will certainly be little lasting fruit. We understand that people are individuals, not just numbers. They have their own struggles, pains, sins, obstacles, and difficulties when being drawn by God's grace to the Son in salvation. We seek to help people bear their burdens, to minister to them individually, to show them the love of Christ, to pray for them, to help them overcome the specific strongholds in their own minds. Relationship evangelism is important, and we seek to minister to people where they are.

Bible Study Meetings

In Guadalajara, we constantly see people respond to our street evangelism with a desire to know the Word more in depth. So we have established a weekly Bible study group every Sunday where they can come to hear us teach through the Scriptures verse by verse. While we constantly get new people from time to time, as they come and go, we are praying for real converts that are zealous for truth who will be established in a real local fellowship. We don't just seek to make converts, but to make real disciples of Jesus Christ.

Bible and Literature Distribution

Many precious people in Mexico don't even own a single Bible. Others own perversions of the Scriptures, such as the New World Translation, or the Catholic Bible with its extra non-canonical books. As we preach the Gospel and people respond showing a hunger for God's Word, we give those who don't own their own Bibles a copy of God's Word at no charge to them. We also distribute a couple of our own booklets that explain the way of Salvation and other literature promoting solid biblical truth and sound doctrine.
